#asktheexperts My baby girl was born 3.9 kg. She is 2.5 months old and her weight is 5.4 kg . Is it normal or her weight is less ?

A. weight is normal as after birth per month baby should gain around 500-800g ideally should double the birth Weight at 4-6months and three times the birth Weight at completing one year exclusively Breast feed recommended for six months
