#asktheexperts My 2 Baby is 10 days now. He has soft spot on his Right Side of Head?? Does soft spot occur on Right Side ??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. they are fontanelle and usually they will close by maximum 18 months of age and only sometimes by 2 years of age.
they are normally present in all infants and is important for the development growth of the brain
it is important to see that the child is not suffering from calcium and vitamin d deficiency as well as the child is not having ancy other complaints becausec their deficiency is the common cause of delayed closure of fontanelle.
