A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever whcxich needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

A. hi dear Offer plenty of fluids. Liquids are important to avoid dehydration. Suction your baby's nose. Keep your baby's nasal passages clear with a rubber-bulb syringe.Try nasal saline drops.
