#asktheexperts is it okay if my 3 years toddler goes to potty for every 3 days

A. no at this age the child should pass stool regularly. if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation. give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined foodx adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.

A. Seems like a chronic case of constipation in this case I’m only going to recommend it to consult your doctor they’ll help you with proper treatment and relieve constipation from your own side mid in the body start the day with a glass of warm water followed by papaya and before sleeping give prune juice and put a drop or two of castor oil in the navel of your child
