Q.

#asktheexperts is it normal to not have periods after delivery? My child is 18 months old, still breastfed 3-4 times a day( mostly during sleep). I also got mirena inserted which has resulted in weight gain, irritation, stress. Is it the reason for not getting periods? I keep taking home pregnancy tests to make sure I am not pregnant. Please suggest a way out. Should I get the mirena removed?
