#asktheexperts I see bit blood in my 8 month old baby boy's belly button where the umbilical cord is cut. it fell off when he was 3 months old but a little bit of cord is still visible. is it safe. The doctor advised to put salt there. please suggest.

A. yes, it may be umbilical granuloma most probably. do salt treatment as per adviced it is effective one to cure it. or you may consult yiur doctor. all the best
