#asktheexperts I'm mother of 1month baby . my breast milk supply is very low. I'm using formula milk for feeding. can I use cow milk for my baby & how can I increase my breast milk supply?

A. no don't give cow milk to your kid till 1 year. you increase your breast milk supply by increasing your fluid intake ,having leafy vegetables and nuts. if you are breast milk supply is low you can give formula milk there is nothing wrong in giving formula milk I faced the same problem and I do give breast milk and formula milk to my child. don't feel guilty about your low breast milk supply or giving formula milk to a child.

A. No its not good to give your baby formula.. Relax and massage. Relax, hold your baby skin-to-skin, and massage your breasts before feeding to encourage your milk to let down. Take care of yourself

A. No cow milk is avoidable till 1 year. You can increase iron diet for increasing breast milk, have shatavari powder or some protein powder with milk in your diet, Till 6 months breastfeeding is needed most to have good immunity to baby
