This is because the exact date of conception is often hard to determine. From your LMP, doctors count 40 weeks (280 days) to estimate your due date. You can also track your pregnancy week by week using a pregnancy calculator or app by entering your LMP. Ultrasound scans during early pregnancy can also help confirm or adjust the due date based on the baby’s growth.
