It’s quite common for a 7-month-old baby’s forehead, palms, and feet to feel warm or “hot” sometimes, especially if the baby is active, in a warm environment, or bundled up. Babies regulate their body temperature differently from adults, and their hands and feet can feel warmer or cooler without it necessarily meaning illness. However, if the warmth is accompanied by redness, rash, fever, sweating, or if the baby seems uncomfortable or unwell, it’s best to consult a pediatrician to rule out any infections or skin conditions like heat rash or eczema. Otherwise, keeping the baby in a cool, well-ventilated place and dressing them in light clothes usually helps.
