Q.
if baby palm, forehead,head is heat but the temperature is 96.8 then what there is hot ???

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. check the temperature in the axilla if it is more than 99 then only is feverIt is quite common that in small babies the head will be having largest surface area naturally there is more blood supply to the head similarly both palms and soles will be having more blood supply they are warmer for feeling it is not fever no need of any medicines And they will be sweating also to regulate body temperature

That’s Absolutely normal it is not fever so don’t worry about it body temperature of a child can be usually warmer then advise you know because they have too much of heat in the body which is why it’s normal for kids since you are saying the temperature is below 99° fahrenheit there is nothing you need to worry about at all
