Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. the child is having umbillical hernia which is very common in children and goes away by Maximum 2 years of age.
With growing age it regresses and goes inside
It does not require any intervention or treatment before 2 years if it is non complicated.
Meet your doctor once who will tell you whether any intervention or wait and watch policy is required

I suggest you please consult with your pediatrician about this matter because physical examination of child is important for proper diagnosis and treatment
