#asktheexperts hi my 14months old got fever today it's 3rd time in this month,. but it goes off after giving paracetamol syrup.. but don't know what would be reson,. is it ok to be like that,.. please suggest.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. babies for 3 months old and is having repeat fever so it can be due to viral infection no need to worry you can repeat the medicine for fever every 6 hours

Fevers due to viruses can last for as little as two to three days and sometime as long as two weeks. A fever caused by a bacterial infection may continue until the child is treated with an antibiotic.
