#asktheexperts hi ma'am...i am almost 3 months postpartum... recently my milk production seems to be decreasing ..what all foods can I include in my diet to improve lactation?

A. do tahe food like oats, garlic, dates, nuts, jeera, Dill seeds, sauf, ajwain, papaya, spoon of desi ghee and butter plus a katori of assorted nuts , makhana everyday. Drink lots of milk and milk products,

A. Since the old days in India, there is a common practice of consuming cumin seeds (jeera) panjiri with dry fruits and jaggery instead of sugar, which is given to a new mother after five to six days of delivery. Cumin seeds enhance milk production.
