#asktheexperts hi,I have 2 month old infant. he had severe diaper rash in bum. so doctor suggested to wipe using warm water and cotton cloth and apply ointment which I am following. I am also giving him diaper free time in a day for about 5hrs to 6hrs. The rashes were gone but from yesterday his rashes are back slightly. till now I haven't stopped following what doctor suggested. why are the rashes coming back?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician5 months agoA. please follow all adviced given by your doctor. limit use of diaoers, change it in every 3-4 hourky and givecdiaper free time afyer each diaper change, apply diaper rash cream.
