#asktheexperts Hi, Does postnatal will cause heavy hair loss. it's been 6months i got delivered, but there's heavy loss to me. what medication do i need to take for this?

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. You can't prevent postpartum hair loss. It's a normal part of the recovery from pregnancy. There aren't any treatments to stop telogen effluvium or to speed up new hair growth.
