#asktheexperts hi doctor, my twin sons got cold. went to doctor and giving medicines. but both are always crying for simple things. not ready to eat any solid food. only need milk often. but ready to eat snacks like murukku, puffed rice, pottu kadalai etc. what to do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.
Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants .
steam inhalation would be beneficial .
Medicines BBC like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
