Author of questionGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. thank you sir but she doesn't have running nose only pblm is nose congestion due to which she is not able to sleep on stretch and is waking up frequently

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine likfe wikoryl, allex cold
In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .
