#asktheexperts Hello doctor! My newborn is 9 days old. He was given phototherapy on 14/04/2023 and was fed formula at the NICU. Now the problem is he is not feeding properly on breastmilk and have not pooped since he was discharged from the ICU on 15th at 12pm with a bilirubin level 8.1 but is passing gas. However, he is urinating 7/8 times a day and his urine is yellow in color. Should I worry?

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello breastfed baby will have less waste and can go without passing motion even for a week and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly
