#asktheexperts hello doctor i got hypothyroidism during my pregnancy its was my 1st pregnancy an till now my baby is 1 year 7 months i ised to breastfeed him so i want to know that it is safe to breastfeed after having thyroid does it effect my baby

A. Write Your Answer Here Yes you can absolutely breast-feed your baby even if you have a hypothyroidism and it doesn’t pass to the baby through breastmilk so don’t worry about it

A. hello actually it is very much common even I got a thyroid even in the pregnancy even after feeding even now I am having its own no need to worry about it just try to take the proper dosage consulting a doctor and you can absolutely breastfeed your baby
