Q.

#asktheexperts Hello doc, My 3 years old toddler was speaking very fluently. For the past 5 to 6 days she started stuttering. And since I’m pregnant with my 2nd child, I couldn’t spend much time with her and she cried a lot. Is that a reason for the sudden stuttering? When it will be cured and what should I do now? Please help me. I’m totally stressed and in depression

A. Crying does not make your child stutter of course but maybe there is some another problem your child is may be having a lot of anxiety and all because you’re having no Time for the child right now so it would be good for you to consult a speech therapist once they will tell you that it is it going to go on its Sonu you need to start giving therapy to the child because normally doesn’t subside without therapy also explain explain it to your child that you are a little busy with a younger one because they need more attention otherwise it would be difficult for you to manage the situation in the long run
