#asktheexperts generalised itching all over the body post delivery… i had this in first delivery… i was prescribed omega 3 fatty acids and cetrizine… can i take it now doing lactation?

A. post delivery generalized itching may be related to kidney disorders or liver function so it would be better that you consult with your doctor once for examination and the investigations to be done and accordingly decide for the management

A. Hello mom Mostly doctors advise not to take omega 3 while being a lactating mothers so you should first consult with your doctor then only take any medication. Because these medications get affect the nutrition baby is getting through mother’s milk. Happy parenting Stay home stay safe
