A. Cow's milk should be given to the baby only after completion of 1 year of age because the protein and fat in cow's milk is hard to digest before that and many a times there could be cow's milk protein allergy in babies and lactose intolerance which could be severe sometimes. Also early introduction of cows milk can lead to iron deficiency anemia as cow's milk lacks iron and vit c . Also there could be micro bleeding in intestine because of the heavy protein of cow's milk .To start with cow's milk should be given thagn gradually you can shift to buffalo milk or a packet milk which is a mixture of two .

A. hi dear mom...cow milk can be given after after completes completes wear and not before that. baby should be exclusively breast fed till six months. post six months you can start with solids and water and not before that
