#asktheexperts can i put vaccine if my baby has coughing?

A. yes can give vaccine simple fever , cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisablev not to delay the vaccination if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

A. hello it is usually not a problem to get the vaccination done when the child is having just cold or cough and only when fever is there it is usually not recommended and you can also delay the vaccination by a week and get the vaccination done after a week also even if the child is having cough which is also safe and not a problem
