Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. they are respiratory secretions which is present in the narrow respiratory tract of the child.
the sound of ghar... ghar.. is present when air passes over these secretions in the narrow respiratory tract.
if the respiratory rate of the child is within normal limits and the child is not having any other complaints do not worry about the sound which is present due to respiratory secretions.
if you feel that the child is havindg some difficulty in breathing you can always give nasal saline drops in the nasal cavity which will wash away the mucus present in the nasal cavity as well as the respiratory tract.
the problem improve with increasing age of the child when there is broadening of the respiratory tract .

Breathing like cough could probably be because your child child is genuinely having cough or congestion see without a physical assessment of the child clarity cannot be provided but if you are saying that your child is comforted you may as well get it examined with your doctor one time
