#AskTheExpert when can we start exercising after delivery? Esp stomach exercises

A. after six weeks. you have to be committed to lose weight. eat more of fruits and vegetables and take lots of water. exercise like aerobic and cardios tooCut on salt in diet. take lots of fluids and a high protein diet. avoid standing or sitting with legs hanging down.

A. If you had an uncomplicated pregnancy and vaginal delivery, it's generally safe to begin exercising a few days after giving birth or as soon as you feel ready. If you had a C-section, extensive vaginal repair or a complicated birth, talk to your health care provider about when to start an exercise program.
