After delivery you should take rest for at least 3 months and then after that you can start with regular daily walking followed by mild exercise after a few days and then slowly move on for heavy workouts after 7 months

better to start after 6 or 12 months of delivery
I mean,you may start any kind of workout after 6 months of delivery but at intial phase, start with low impact exercises like gentle jogging, waking etc
