A. Worm infection in children can cause symptoms like stomach pain, itching around the anus (especially at night), poor appetite, weight loss, nausea, and bloating. If you suspect a worm infection, consult a doctor for a deworming medication like Albendazole or Mebendazole, which is usually given after one year of age. To prevent worms, maintain good hygiene, wash hands regularly, clean fruits and vegetables properly, and avoid eating raw or undercooked food. Including papaya, garlic, and pumpkin seeds in the diet may also help in managing worms naturally.
