#AskTheExpert what is the best mosquito repellent for 2 year old... I use odomus cream n odomus stickers too besides routine good knight liquid electric repellent... still mosquitoes find their way even through clothes or on the face... then he scratches at those site resulting in scar formation.. please tell what to apply for those scar marks.. thanks a lot..

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. You are doing everything right. Just maintain good hygiene. Clean the room properly. In a week mosquito spray should be use in room especially curtains , behind the bed and other areas. Keep the baby for outdoor for sometime at the time of spray.

Umesh AhireGuardian of a 8 yr 2 m old girl7 years agoA. Please use foldable mosquito net which is easily available online. It will be helpful not only for baby but for entire family. Also make sure there is no mosquito inside once the nets chains are closed. You can also use mosquito bats which kills mosquitos and give results better than any other repellants or liquids. Prevention is always better than cure...

swapnaMom of 2 children7 years agoA. Using mosquito nets is the best option when baby is sleeping but during evenings while they are playing,mamaearth mosquito repellents patches are very safe. After bite, you can use mamaearth after bite roll on which reduces itching & rashes, also 100% natural blend.

SakshiMom of a 10 yr 3 m old boy7 years agoA. You can use mosquito net ,it is best option. And if you want to mosquito repellent then I prefer you to use Mamaearth as it is natural and safe for kids. I am using Mamaearth roll on also as it gives relief to my kids from itching and redness.

AnnMom of a 7 yr 5 m old boy7 years agoA. Instead of applying a repellent creme or spray I use a mosquito net which is like an umbrella that covers the bed or the area baby lies in. It is readily available in market. It keeps mosquitoes at bay and also no tension about safety on baby's skin. As for the scars if you are still breast feeding apply your milk on it, it does wonders. If not apply coconut oil.

KaveriMom of a 7 yr 3 m old child7 years agoA. The only best way I know to prevent mosquitoes is to close windows or put net on windows from 5 pm onwards till 8 am. Use mosquito nets for your baby and yourself. Don't use any artificial fragrances or smoke near babies. Good knight etc add extra protection but not a complete one. For scars, I have always used Patanjali Aloe Vera or Coconut oil. No other lotion. But I do use Himalaya Baby Lotion in general.

You can use natural repellents like lavender oil or soyabean oil Cover your baby with full cloths Use mosquito nets Also you can use DEET free repellents patches,insect repellent bands For mosquito repellents I would suggest buddsbuddy because they are DEET free and works perfectly😊
