#asktheexpert Today it's 37 weeks and 1 day completed for my pregnancy. The doctor advised the c- section as my first delivery was also with a c-section. As per the last menstrual period, estimated date of delivery will be on 26 May 2024. Which is the suitable date for the delivery? kindly guide in this .

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist1 Year agoA. If there are no complications in your pregnancy so far, then you can wait until 38 completed weeks and go ahead with an elective cesarean surgery. After 37 completed weeks also, it can be done based on your doctors discretion

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist1 Year agoA. go ahead. do ultrasound n necessary tests after consulting a specialist. without proper check up we can't advise or help you.. Avoid shirt cuts when it comes to health if mother n baby. ok.
