So any extra salt will be a burden on the tiny kidneys and the kidney’s will not be able to function properly due to the excessive load. This may lead to kidney disease and other unwanted issues. It's Better to avoid that 'ay lead to other issues. Also well we know sugar is refined by lot of chemical processes which may be harmful to children even adults. Excess sugar may cause caries and tooth decay in children and unwanted obsetiy. Instead replace with natural sweeteners like jaggery or palm candy.
