For 6 month old start with liquid first then slowly to semi solids and then solids
U can give thin dal, rice kanji, soup, vegetables boiled and mashed, steamed and mashed fruits, coconut water, thin Upma, oats porridge
Don’t add salt and sugar to food till 1 year
Give a new food for 3 days and then switch to new food to rule out allergies
Start with 4-5 tsp twice a day along with breast milk or formula and then slowly increase quantity and frequency
Use boiled and cooled water
