Q.

#Asktheexpert My son is not sleeping in right timings . He is sleeping at 1 in night and wake up at 10 or 11 . Even if I try to wake him up he is so deep in sleep . How I can change his timings ? Please suggest

A. for big children it is important to increase the physical activity of the child during the daytime and also see that the child is drinking plenty of water and is having a good diet just before sleep but at the same time the diet should be easily digestible and not very heavy diet which is causing more gas formation becausex that also can lead to digestion problem and that can disturb the sleep. also it is important to look for any environmental disturbance which is affecting the sleep like temperature variations as wellx as the mattress problem. rule out constipation which might be causing gastric disturbance and change in sleep pattern
