#AskTheExpert my son is 3.3 years not able speak yet, he is ok with other activities is that ok, can I give him some more time?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by ssyllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

If your child is understanding every thing responding well on every thing that makes really then it is the right time for you to consult a speech therapist because by this age kids can speak certain words we keep a mark for three years basically it’s in your child is not speaking then you should I get a check with the doctorWrite Your Answer Here
