#asktheexpert my son is 1 yr old, we had given him hepatitis A and pcv booster vaccination on March 1st 2024 can we put him polio drops today ? please suggest

Author of questionFather of a 2 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. in Bengaluru, oral pulse polio drive is going on from March 3rd 2024.
we gave my son PCV booster , hepatitis A on March 1st, Friday last week . he has completed 1year on February 24 2024. he doesn't have fever and is active.
we have given all the vaccine recommended by private hospitals till now.
our Paediatrician says it is not necessary to administer polio.
we are confused and don't know whether to give oral polio.
please suggest us?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. s please give. the very purpose of giving vaccine to the baby is to have proper immunity please take all optional and essential vaccine to the baby if you have already missed any one of them
