#asktheexpert my son is 1 month old. I’m not able to understand how much ml milk should I give and in how many hours is it 2 hours gap for 3 months and how would I know my baby needs more milk that I need to increase ml.

A. Hai good afternoon !! Feeding qunatity depends on baby present weight. If baby is 3.5-4 kg then 50-70 ml per feed os suggested initially give 50 ml then gradually increase 10-15 ml after a week. Tummy looks round filled baby sleeps after feed ,gains weight peeing 7-10 times a day are symptoms of sufficient feed. If baby crying even after feed,trying to latch ,no weight gain or less weight gain, peeing less then increase 15 -30 ml feed gradually.
