#asktheexpert My son has a seizure due to high fever, so he has been given anticonvulsant medicine. He is due for his fourth vaccination next month. After the fourth vaccination. If he has a high fever after the fourth vaccination. Should I give him anticonvulsant medicine and paracetamol? Or should I give him the medicine provided by the government hospital?

A. Hello my dear parent! Anti seizure medicine should be given only when there is a symptom of seizure, not for the fever. Consult your doctor for further guidance in this matter. Complete the course of treatment as advised by the doctor.
