#AskTheExpert My niece is 4 months old and born at 8 month as she is iugr baby with 1.4kg. Now her weight is 6 kg and is 4 and half month old. Kindly suggest something for her weight gain

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. Dear parent, weight of 6 kg is an absolutely healthy weight for 4 and half months old baby, do not worry. If you have been breastfeeding, then you should exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. Breast milk is most nutritious and complete food for baby till 6 months.
