#AskTheExpert My mother in law suggested me not to have ultrasound more than 4 times throughout pregnancy, is there any danger to have more number of ultrasound.

There is absolutely no danger in getting repeated ultrasound scans while you’re pregnant and if required you have to get it done no matter what. POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. All medical procedures have risk. But, there's no evidence to show a prenatal ultrasound done properly will harm a mother or their unborn child. Done properly means it's performed by a physician or a trained technician, called a sonographer.
