#AskTheExpert My kid is 25 days old and since yesterday he is getting fever for the first time when I checked it was 99.9 but later after giving crocin (6-7 drops) it came down I gave the same dose for 2 more time and looks like fever is ok now. My question is if the fever comes again shall I give crocin again or visit doctor ?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr 3 m old girl4 years agoA. it s almost within normalcy. baby on touch can have warm soles and head. It s a normal and healthy thing. Check temperature at armpit level and if above 99 fahrenheit then we treat fever in babies. Can give drops paracetamol like calpol / T 98 / Sumol as per ba y weight . Can be repeated every 6 hours .
