#AskTheExpert My daughter is 3 years 10 months old. She has having fever from 3 days. I'm giving her Dolo 250 - 5.5 ml every 6 hours and Meftal -P - 6.5ml when the temperature is above 102. The fever is not reducing.. Is there any other action that can be taken ? We have given samples for testing.. awaiting results

A. Fever is a defense against infection. Your child's body is raising its temperature to kill the germs. In most cases it's harmless and goes away on its own in 3 days.
