#AskTheExpert my daughter is 3 months old m not getting my periods after delivery even i have taken the medicine meprate 15days back still no periods..plz suggest med.to get periods.

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 4 years agoA. no medication is required till one year after delivery for the periods to occur so don't take medications on your own you can wait till 1 year for your periods to resume again just maintain Healthy lifestyle

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Not to worry it's normal. if your breastfeeding It may even take a year or more too resume. If you bottle feed there are chances to get it early. If you do botlle feeding and breastfeeding together it may resume in the middle too. There is no particular time and each mums body is also different.
