#asktheexpert my daughter is 3 months old completed and her weight is 3.6 kg ...her birth weight is 2.7 kg.. after 5 days of delivery it decreased by 2.4 kg..so is it normal

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist1 Year agoA. Yes, it is absolutely normal for the baby to lose around 10% of the body weight in the first 10 days in there after the baby will start gaining around 20 g per day and by five months the baby should double the birth weight
