The kid will learn healthy eating habits from parents, siblings after watching them enjoy home cooked meals. Try to give fruits as snacks and you can even add nuts to it. Give fruit milkshakes and fruit smoothies and add dry fruits powder to them.

Offer colourful foods like beetroot halwa, gajar halwa etc and offer these on colourful plates or bowls. Cut foods into different shapes using food cutters to attract the attention of the kid. Persistence is the key. Keep offering the same food 10-15 times and some day, the kid might just eat it. Give your kid a bowl and a spoon to eat. He or she might make a mess and might play with the food. Do not stop him or her. Let him or her play with the food and this is how he or she might learn to eat independently while touching, playing and finally tasting the food.
