#AskTheExpert My daughter is 2 yr and 10 months old and she is farting a lot. we give her pediasure. She passes her stool with slight constipation. Kindly suggest any remedy to reduce her farting and constipation problem.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver.
its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. proper burping after eiuach feed is very important.
Enzyme preparations like aglozyme or vitazyme can be beneficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.
