#AskTheExpert my daughter doesn't latch properly my friend recommended me to use nipple shield . is it safe to use nipple shield . will she be able to do away with it once she has learnt to breast feed.

Lightly compress your breast, giving it a shape more closely resembling your baby's mouth.
Turn her mouth toward your breast; then tickle her lips with your nipple until her mouth is open wide.Allowing her to take your nipple and areola into her mouth.

new born will take time to latch and suck try comforting the baby as you feed rub the baby back and head
you can express milk with Babyhug electric breast pump and feed the baby
or use nipples shield
