Q.

#AskTheExpert My child doesn't eat fish or chicken or any vegetables. The only protein she has is egg. is there anything I can do to make sure she has more protein in her diet?

A. Milk and milk products like cheese, curd, yoghurt and cottage cheese are a healthy source of protein. Peanut butter, soy milk, tofu, nuts, legumes, soy yoghurt and seeds are also rich in proteins. Give a protein rich breakfast like Dal cheela, paneer parantha, parantha with curd or paneer sandwich. Give protein rich snacks like milkshakes, yoghurt, cheese, nuts or hummus. Offer protein rich desserts like milk pudding, lentil pancake etc.
