#asktheexpert my child 2 yr 8 month old coughing for one week after consulting with the doctor, he has prescribed Ascoril LS 5 ml 3 times in a day but after taking 3 days of the said medicine still he is coughing during night time. what should I do now sir.

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. aloguung with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.g steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

A. hi such infection takes time to get cured please keep your child well hydrated give luke warm water to drink apply Babyhug rapid relief rub on chest and back of your child give Indirect steam inhalation twice in a day
