Q.

my 2.6 years old daughter is having cough and cold. doctor prescribed her Ascoril plus 4 ml 3 times a day for 1 week. after giving medicine for 2 days she is still coughing. should I continue with the medicine or consult some other doctor?

A. please continue the same medicine given by the doctor for some more time Cold and cough in the babies are because of viral infections which will take at least five to six days time to subside it is advisable to do steam inhalation frequently to liquefy the secretions as well put nasoclear saline drops in the nose of the baby
