#asktheexpert My baby was born pre mature at 32 weeks and was having 974 grams at birth... He gained 5.5kgs of weight till 7th month of birth and now he is 1 year but still the weight is same...He is still unable to sit but he can crawl and turn, neck control is also there... So is there any specific reason of not gaining weight and not sitting till 1 year ?

See even if it is a premature child a child should learn to sit by eight if not eight months and 9 to 10 months but it’s already one year I think you should get a check with the doctor these things could be due to nutritional deficiency as well so once I would recommend you to go for a full checkup with your doctorWrite Your Answer Here
