#asktheexpert my baby is irritable not latching properly even though very hungry and cries continuously for which I rock her to sleep for dream feeding. During general checkup doctor said general hypotonia is seen in my baby wat should I do. I'm scared if I have caused shaken baby syndrome

A. Hypotonia is a lifelong condition that can get better with treatment. Most babies who have a hypotonia diagnosis show great improvement in their muscle tone as they get older. If your child receives an underlying genetic condition diagnosis, there's a chance that symptoms of hypotonia could worsen over time.
